Klaus Bachstein

Chief Executive Officer / Gallus

From 1978 to 1983 Klaus Bachstein studied for his MBA in Innsbruck, Austria and New Orleans, US. He later completed an executive management program at the University of St.Gallen, the Swiss Federal University of Technology, both Switzerland, and also from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US. From 1982 to 1983 he worked in Technical Sales Support for the information technology group NCR. Klaus then went onto work in the construction and building industry for Hilti Group (US) and held a number of positions including; Director, Corporate Planning and Development, Controller of the Western Hemisphere and Member of the Management Board. In 1995 Klaus was appointed Member of the Management Board for the Gallus Group and since 1998 he has held the position of Chief Executive Officer.
