Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México in 1962, Fernando graduated as an Industrial Engineer from ITESO University, Guadalajara. He continued his post-graduate studies in Business Administration in IPADE, Guadalajara. From 1984 to 1985 Fernando worked at Novaflex (now part of Alcan), as a Quality Engineer, then from 1985 to 1992 as the Vice President of Sales Marketing for PiSA (a Mexican pharmaceutical firm). From 1992 to 1994 he founded a real estate development company. From 1994 to date Fernando founded, together with his brother Jaime, Flexo Print, which focuses on pharmaceutical labels. Since then they have diversified into many different market segments including: food, beverages, cosmetics, wine, spirits and industrial products.
