Alexander Hernández Muñoz is a Mechanical Engineer with a Polymer Processing and Engineering Master’s degree, specializing in Polymers from EAFIT University – ICIPC. Alexander has more than 20 years of experience in the rubber and plastics industry, in both Colombia and abroad. He has worked for companies such as Extrusiones where he was Technical Manager, Biofilm Colombia and Biofilm Mexico where he was Special Technologies Manager. Since 2013, he has been with the Rubber and Plastics Training and Research Institute (ICIPC) as Head of Product Development. He is co-inventor of an USPTO and PCT patent application, author of articles in national and international journals, and an experienced speaker, taking part in several international forums.
